A Creative Takeover by Ray Dray Presents at 3 Dots Downtown

Ray Dray, owner and creative director of Ray Dray Presents LLC,  is proud to serve as the inaugural resident artist for 3 Dots Downtown. Through her partnership with 3 Dots Downtown, Ray Dray will have the opportunity to bring her production and storytelling abilities to scale and officially launch the Whew Chile! Black Women Working project in Happy Valley.

Whew Chile! Black Women Working: The Musical
Black Woman, the main character, curses out her boss, “quiet quits” and contends with the patriarchy, white feminism and imposter syndrome all before clocking out! Enjoy a sneak peek of the Whew Chile! Black Women Working musical production and an intimate discussion with the writer/director/producer and cast.

The Break Room
Whew Chile! Black women are NOT working! Our goal is to support Black women through resting and healing. This rest installation leverages the framework of Tricia Hershey’s Nap Ministry which includes community napping and daydreaming, breathwork, meditation, journaling and grazing.
