It all started in May 2024, when we hosted a dance workshop with 12 little girls from the community. In March 2025, we introduced the world to rayDiANCE Dance Company!

Of course, we dance (and look great doing it!) but our mission is so much bigger.

Our program is intentionally designed for youth in the State College/Bellefonte area who are looking to build their confidence, connect with the historically Black college and university (HBCU) dance culture and build community.

Our inaugural season was epic! In addition to learning majorette dance fundamentals, our dancers performed for community events like the Juneteenth celebrations organized by the State College NAACP and Under Angel Wings Family Center. Additionally, our dancers will have opportunities to travel and participate in fun team building activities.
